Re: New - RBR750 / RBS750 Firmware Version 7.2.6.31 Released
I've got the RBR750 / RBS350 combo. Currently the router and the satellites are on v4. 6.14.3. On the Orbi app I am seeing an update available for the RBR750 to v7. 2.6.31. I don't think I should update as I don't believe the RBS350 is compatible. Can someone please advise?
NG has catagorized and model# any RBR750 and RBS350 as the RBK650 series. Any of these models with in this Kit, need to use FW from this 650 series download section as the 350 series is NOT compatible with the RBK750 series v7 FW.
Not sure if or when NG will put forth any v7 FW for the 350 series RBS. So you'll need to use the v4 version of FW across the RBR and RBS units you have to keep them working.

- Hey. I had a feeling, hence why I didn't process the update. Wonder why my RBR750 is asking to be updated to v7. x? Anyway, can turn off/cancel the update in the app so I don't accidentally do it?
Look on the RBRs web page under Advanced tab/Administration/FIrmware Updates and see if you there is a disable check for FW updates radio button here.
