Re: New Netgear Orbi RBK852 Bugs
The Orbi AX supports ethernet back haul and works. Though the wireless back haul speed is slower than the 50 series. (2400 + 2400 + 1200Mbps) Not sure why they went with slower wrireless back hau...

Wonder if the spec sheet is incorrect. I'll check into that.
Thinking about it, I believe that page maybe incorrect. If the model spec is AX6000, then thats 2400 + 2400 + 1200 = 6000. If it was 2400 x3 then that would be 7200.
I've seen 1900Mbps and upwards....

its under the tech specs. just expand the triband wifi setup.
the 1200mbps is the 2.4ghz band. the 2400mbps is the 5ghz usable and 5ghz backhaul. Anandtech also goes over the 1200 mbps is the 2.4ghz, 2400mbps 5ghz, and 2400mbps 5ghz backhaul.

Yes I strand corrected. Just checked my 852 and I guess the spec sheet PDF reads backwards.
I thought mostly reading the numbers from left to right always started with the 2.4Ghz radio. The spec sheet reads with the 2.4Ghz as the last value.
Sorry for posting incorrect information. Spec sheet is kind of mis-leading from other spec sheets I read for other Orbi routers which read with the 2.4Ghz radio value first. So yet, the 1200 is the max speed rate on 2.4ghz and 2400 is seen on the 5Ghz radios.I'll ask if NG can visually change the text so that reads better and be more specific. :smileywink:
