Either should work. Since the 350 series is only 1Gb, will only use that speed.

The conversion rate is only 30-35%, so a 1000 mbps system only delivers 350 mbps speeds. Like Wifi, that is half-duplex. See

And the 350 mbps is the best case, it often delivers much less. See for instance this post: NH RS300 - QoS | NETGEAR Communities Looking at powerline to solve a similar connectivity problem, and found even AV2 didn't work at all.
If maxpuissant is aiming for 500 mbps he should get the AV2 ("2000" mbps).
If the rooms have Coax wiring for TV, then MoCa is another option.
