RBK852 New Owner - so far so good (Nest, Amazon Echo/Fires, Ring, August etc) with Google Fiber

Your using the C-wire so you should experinece any low battery problems then.
Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

A quick update as I know from reading the forum some people are having issues with the v4.6.3.9 firmware / RBK85x series. So far my setup continues to work fine. I have ordered an extra satellite which arrives tomorrow and will allow for more wifi coverage across the back garden. The only real oddity I have noticed is an infrequent disconnect/reconnect of a wifi device, but this has happened far less the last 24 hours once I stopped renaming/remapping/starting and stopping things but is something to keep an eye on.
I have in general kept the default settings for WiFi etc, and once I've had another week or so to confirm things are stable I may make a few tweaks.
I just tried a speed test on my Dell XPS 13 9300 running Windows 10. Connected via the 5Ghz WiFi to the satellite which has a hard wired backhaul. I received 5ms ping; 239 Mbps download; 119 Mbps upload.
Doing a similar speed test on my Intel NUC connected via ethernet I get 4ms ping; 699 Mbps download and 940 Mbps upload.
