Re: RBR850 Dropping Internet Connectivity
Hi there, Just wondering if anyone else is still getting these issues. I am struggling to be honest. My dropouts are completely random. Like two or three in one day and none for 3 months. I have...

so here is the latest update.
Post attempting a full factory reset that did not go well and then going back to my stored config I noticed something that was very strange.
If I logged on to the network my ORBR (I.e. router) was showing as a device connected to my Satellite which I have seen before. I am thinking this might be a part of the problems I experienced!! The satellite was then not showing on the router and remember that I have ethernet backhaul
So what I ended up doing was turning the two satellites off an rebooting the router - it did its thing then paused and did it all again - so once I waited for this I then turned on the satellites one at a time - they too came on and did their thing - twice.... however the second time they gave me a very nice blue light show and now everything seems to be behaving much better than before. No dropouts to speak of (touch wood) and best of all as I walk through the house no issues swapping from one access point to the other (which used to take a while).
so I think that my base set up was wrong although the advice to get the right FW I think was the first step to getting this all sorted out.....
it is nice to be back counting onself as a Netgear Orbi fan again... And it's nice to have everything ticking along too.... thank you for all the advice along the way.... Should really figure out how to get a share screen option in the community because I think you would have solved my issues (and stupidity) much quicker that way - although I get the security and privacy issues so don't shout lol
have a great weekend!
