Re: RBR850 not sending IP address after power outage
This exact same issue has been happening to me since I've purchased the RBR850 with 2 additional satellites. I've opened a few cases with Netgear support and have spent hours and hours on calls with support. I've exchanged my router for a new one but the issue is still there. There is obviously an issue with their hardware\software and will never buy another netgear product again.
There is an issue everytime it loses power whether it is a power outage or I simply unplug the router. The DHCP addresses are messed up after that. Only about a third of the devices will connect. Sometimes, if I change the DHCP address scope to a small IP range and then change it back to a larger IP range the devices will come back. But often times I have to reset my router to factory settings and then have to assign a new ssid and reset all my Wifi devices to this new ssid or it will not work.
Netgear knows this is a problem and will not do anything about it. There are so many complaints about this.
