Struggeling with new Orbi Set
After a couple of years my good old RBR50 Mesh kit died and I purchased a RBK762 as replacement. So I ended putting up the RBR760 at the same place as the RBR50 and swapped the RBS50 with the RBS760....

Just curious, whats the system uptime show on your 850 series?

I have a 4200sqft house and have been using a RBK853 system (router plus 2 satellites) for the last couple of years without any connectivity or signal strength issues. YMMV but its been ok for me. I have the router upstairs on 2nd floor and the two satellites on the first floor. They control 7 TVs (rarely more than 2 TVs on at a time) and many home automation devices. We have 1Gbps service from Xfinity. I have several IoT devices on a separate SSID.

Up time has been good with the only downtime being the fault of Xfinity. The Orbi 850 devices we have here have been outstanding. By the way I use the RBR850 in AP mode. I have a different router (pfSense).

Two places, RBRs web page under Advanced Tab/Internet section/Show stats and router IP address/debug.htm

I powered down the system a month or so ago for some re-cabling.

So, how does the 770 compare?
is that also a cheap'o version? It certainly isn't cheap to buy here...
I am very close to go for a 850.
