Re: Unable to connect at 6 GHz to the Orbi RBRE960
Any resolution to this? I have a Dell XPS 15 9530 w/ Intel AX211 6E card and Orbi RBK963 (router + 2 sats). Orbi settings are identical to the author's settings in first post. AX211 settings ...
- May 16, 2024Solution? I’m now able get 6GHz on both iPhone and laptop. On iPhone, I selected “Forget this network” and reattached.
On laptop, I skipped Dell’s update and went straight to Intel, whose driver was much newer.
Both devices can now reach the limit of my WWAN (1Gbps).

Didn’t find any specific settings to enable/disable 6 GHz, other than in the WLAN adapter settings.

Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Any information you could share on how you got the XPS 15 to connect to the 6ghz would be appreciated. I have the latest drivers from Intel and have tried everything but the XPS 15 doesn't see 6ghz. My Iphone sees the 6ghz fine but I read it has been disabled on the XPS by dell by a bios flag. I would love to get the 6ghz working as my 5ghz is congested in my location.
Thanks in advance
