Also, is there any change that I have to do in the ISP modem? such as disable DHCP and let the orbi router be the DHCP? or any special configuration on both devices (Orbi Router and ISP modem)

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 UTP is recommended.- javiersalasfDec 18, 2024Aspirant

Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router.

Try option #2 first...

If the ISP device is capable of DHCP, that indicates that it is a combination modem/router. There are specific applications that can be affected by having "two routers" (do internet search for "Double NAT problems"). Users who find that they require these applications usually place their ISP device into "bridge" or "passthrough" mode. If there have been no problems so far, this may not be an issue for you.
One technique that sometimes works with IoT devices is to power cycle them after the entire WiFi network is up and stable. Most modern WiFi devices are programmed to continue searching for new WiFi connections all the time. (especially mobile devices such as phones, tablets, laptops). There appear to be some devices which are programmed to stop searching after they make a connection. Since the router begins advertising WiFi before the satellites, these devices may connect to the router and are no longer looking when the satellites become available.

Thank you!
I have a mini no break in my satellites and orbi router, what I did is to turn off electricity at house, then wait few minutes until everything got disconnected, then start the electricity breakers and I started to see they were connecting to different satellites as it should supposed to do
