If the ISP device is capable of DHCP, that indicates that it is a combination modem/router. There are specific applications that can be affected by having "two routers" (do internet search for "Double NAT problems"). Users who find that they require these applications usually place their ISP device into "bridge" or "passthrough" mode. If there have been no problems so far, this may not be an issue for you.
One technique that sometimes works with IoT devices is to power cycle them after the entire WiFi network is up and stable. Most modern WiFi devices are programmed to continue searching for new WiFi connections all the time. (especially mobile devices such as phones, tablets, laptops). There appear to be some devices which are programmed to stop searching after they make a connection. Since the router begins advertising WiFi before the satellites, these devices may connect to the router and are no longer looking when the satellites become available.

I have a mini no break in my satellites and orbi router, what I did is to turn off electricity at house, then wait few minutes until everything got disconnected, then start the electricity breakers and I started to see they were connecting to different satellites as it should supposed to do
