Satellite poor speed RB960
Have talked to tech support for 2 weeks. I initially was getting 560 MBPS speed wirelessly at router and still am consistently. The satellite which is just 15 feet away in my bedroom I was getting 460...

Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Be aware that some WiFi devices may top out at lower speeds as they are limited by there MIMO configuration. 2x2 usually cap at 300-500Mpbs on 5Ghz AC. AX may see around 700Mpbs. 6Ghz will be the same. 4x4 MIMO devices can see over 900Mpbs on 5Ghz AC and AX.
Also distances from either RBR or RBS will impact speeds as well. Nearest will be good speeds, farther, speeds will drop. Nature of the wifi beast.
5 and 6Ghz signals are effected by building materials as well.

It is running latest firmware. V6.0.3.85_3.1.15
I am using a Motorola router MB8600 Docsis 3.1 using Cox Cable 500 MbPS service. It is clocking consistently at 560-570 MbPS.
Home is 1400 sq feet 2 floors but just getting the satellite on second floor where the router is is what I am focusing on. Router is placed centrally located n home and I have tried satellite in various locations even moving it to same room as router and still to no avail. At MOST it is 25 ft away but I have placed it closer and doesn't seem to make major changes to signal. Now when I first tested the satellite in my bedroom I was able to get it up to 460 MbPS but now it is not going over 330 at most even with the pieces placed in same locations. It's very odd. Almost like it's throttling speed. Only changes to setup was the DNS numbers to the modem. Otherwise all pretty simple and basic.

Orbi support had me hard reset the satelite and reboot router and is now getting 350 speed. Still FAR below what it was.

How many RBS did you get? 1 or 2?
FOr that size of home the RBR can wifi cover the home alone.
Having the RBS too close can also cause problems. 30ft or MORE is needed.Try just the RBR alone with the RBS turned OFF.
Did you enable Armor or Traffic Meter?

I did try that. I was clocking around 300-320 from router without the satellite so it does work but not well.Ffor reference downstairs satellite is clocking 460 maybe 470?
