Satellites not visible after firmware update
History: my system consist of CBR750 and two satellites RBS750. The system for the most part has been working fine except for the last few months I have been having some problems with the satellite...

If you can't get to the RBS web page and the RBS will not connect using a ethernet cable to the back of the CBR, I would probably use the TFTP method to get the FW downgraded.

Need to press the reset button for 30 seconds then release, then it send to PUT the command and upload the FW.
Make sure you enable tftp: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
Video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done:

I had a problem on a Windows 10 PC where this didn't work to use TFTP, so I switched to a Windows 7 PC and the TFTP worked.

Try nmrpflash:

Hoping you can get the RBS reconnected.

Thank you for the timely reply, unfortunately I do not understand what you're saying. I think you are saying that I need to downgrade my satellites. I do not understand how to do this. I have tried using the IP address of one of the satellites to log into. I do have a pop-up asking for the username and password each time I put the information in that I believe to be accurate. These boxes go blank. I have no idea how to downgrade the firmware in the satellites. Hopefully you or someone can help. Thank you Dale

Try admin and password in the box?
If you can get in to the RBS web pages, you can downgrade the RBS using the web pages there. You'll need to download the FW file for the RBS that I linked in this thead and set the .chk file using the web browser...

I don’t know how to get into the RBS web page. Also her reasons I know not, one of my satellites has come up in the app and says it is not synced. I went to the firmware update page hoping it would be there but it’s not.

I did try your recommendation, but it seemed to be above my pay grade. :-). After doing a little bit more research I was able to downgrade both of my satellites and have them show up on the app. I did this by the following:
History: my system consists of:
CBR750 Firmware Version V4.6.5.8_2.0.54
Two satellites RBS750. Firmware Version : V4.6.5.14
I was able to downgrade my two satellites by doing the following:
- reset the satellites back to default
- connected my desktop computer directly into the CBR 750 (cable)
- connected the satellite directly into CBR 750 (cable)
- one at a time add that the satellite to the CBR 750 looking for the blue light
- after adding the second satellite (both had to blue light) neither satellite was showing in the ORBI app.
- Important: because both satellite said they were connected (bluelight), and although not showing in the app. I left them alone overnight. The next day they were still not showing in the app but were listed under attached devices with an IP address.
- Using the satellites IP address. I was able to get into the satellites app and downgrade each satellite.
- After doing this they showed up in the router app.
- After checking all my settings. I did a backup of the configuration file
Question: am I now on all of the right firmware for my devices. Is there a more current firmware for my satellites? If there is should I downgrade my CBR 750 and then upgrade the two satellites, first. I am somewhat fearful that the system may upgrade the satellites all by itself, putting me back to where I started with this request.
I do for the most part believe if it ain't broken don't fix it, it seems from reading the different things on Netgear community that the firmware sometimes updates all by itself, and it seems from what I have read that the satellites need to be updated prior to the router.Thank you for your help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
