Firmware V6.0.3.85_3.1.15
about 2,000 ft home< for this size of home, the RBR would be only needed. Maybe 1 RBS. I recommend you turn OFF 1 RBS.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Connection on both satellites is 5Ghz in web admin and Backhaul status showing as “Poor”. This seems to vary for some reason, is is supposed to? Seems to change if I restart, but speed to Satellites still low. Not as fast as initial set-up.
Is the separate 6Ghz SSID broadcast enabled?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
I’m getting 710-540Mbps at my router (Mid level of house)
At my 2nd floor Satellite I’m getting @ 140-170 Mbps (about 40ft from Router). I have a 2nd Satellite in basement level with similar speed of 2nd Floor satellite.
I would sort of be ok with this but when I first set-up the orbing system (everything in the same locations) the speed up at the 2nd floor was in the 600Mbps. How do I get back to this, what can I trouble shoot, or was that a fluke. Is what I am seeing typical speed decreases or should this be performing better?
**I have a radiant floor system with so the floors have a thin skin of aluminum sheet throughout…
This could cause some wifi signal degradation as well.
Be sure that when your wirelessly testing that you disable the wifi radio on your wireless device, then go near to the RBS, then re-enable the wifi radio on the wireless device to ensure it connects to the RBS vs the RBR.
