I also "upgraded" from the RBR/RBS50 to a RBR/RBS760 system last year in the hope of at least getting (security) software updates for a few years, but I must say it's not been a great experience. At least it works on my end though.
Make sure that the Orbi is really using a 1000 Mbps link speed to the modem. If you log in to the web interface, then under "Advanced" click "Show Statistics" you get a pop up that has the link status in the second column. On the WAN port, make sure it says 1000M/Full. If not, replace the cable. The next step I'd suggest is to disconnect/power off the satellites and make sure you get the expected WiFi speed from the RBR760.

Hey mate
I get absolutely fine speeds when next to the Orbi router,
Its when i go into my studio the satellite is giving rubbish speeds
Just checked the admin settings and WAN is showing 1000m/full

WiFi Speeds will drop with distances of the RBS from the RBR. Nature of the beast.
Also this is just a dual band MESH system with not dedicated backhaul so performances will not be spectacular. The 50 series has a dedicated BH as other 750, 850 and 960 and beyond systems also have.- User763Oct 29, 2024Aspirant
Furry, the 760 is tri-band with a dedicated backhaul.
If you get good WiFi speeds from the RBR, then I would suggest to start with a single satellite, make sure if is connected with 5GHz to the RBR (check the "Attached Devices" page and the "Show Statistics" under "WLAN Backhaul"). Even if only temporary, I'd also suggest to try with a wired backhaul to see if that solves the problem.

I stand corrected. Yes it is a tri band system:
Orbi AX5400 Router and AX5400 Satellite
(600+2400+2400Mbps)
