Sonos and Chromecast wGTV connecting to 2.4g
Hi, I've read reams of similar problems but no solutions seem to work / fit. I have an Orbi RBR350 V4.20.0.4_3.100.71. Currently 3 laptops, 3 phones, a cat feeder, a Sonos One Gen 2 and a Chromeca...
One possibility is that this Chromecast device is defective. As mentioned above, setting up the Chromecast is done using the remote. (Smartphone app not involved.) The Orbi WiFi SSID should appear and the Chromecast should connect to the 5G signal.
Would it be possible to try this Chromecast on a different WiFi system and see if it connects at 5G?
Or, perhaps temporarily borrow a Chromecast from a friend and see if that one will connect to the Orbi at 5G?
