Will look into the DMZ issue. Please explain a bit more on one cannot use VPN. I sometimes use the VPN via Chrome browser - will this be an issue?
The VPN that requires Orbi in Router mode is the Orbi as VPN server. That is you connect from outside your home to Orbi and become as if you’re at home (get an internal IP address from Orbi). Other types of VPN will work regardless of Orbi operating mode.
