The Internet connection stops working
When I originally brought my router in March I had the same problem I have with this update. The Internet connection stops working. I still have WiFi access and can connect to the router and perform ...

Let see how it does after the FR you did...

Updated to latest (v7.2.6.21) and within hours the connection died between the router and ONT. I’ve just done a factory reset and now the WiFi/Internet feels faster than it was over the last week. I’ll post again if I still have problems, and I’ll try to come back in a few weeks and update if not.

Not had much luck, still had the occasional drop out, this was rock solid when I reverted to 4.xx.xx in December.
What I have noticed is that the LED on the front of the router keeps flashing white when working, which implies it’s not fully configured.
Last time I only reset the router, I’ve just done a full reset on the router and the satellite and gone through the app to do the setup and this time the LED has gone out, I hope this is a resolution to the problem.
I also noticed my upload speeds were limited to about 90Mbs which I’ve had since December when I downgraded the router to the 4.xx.xx version of the firmware, this has now gone and upload speeds are back to 600Mbs! I hope this is the resolution and I have no more disconnections. If not I guess it’s back to v4.xx.xx
I’ll post back again in the future once I’m happy this is resolved or not.
Thanks for your help.

If the front LED on the RBR turns ON WHITE or PINK, be sure to have the ISP check on there side. Issues at this level can can will cause problems seen on the RBR.
Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Ok very strange, now I only have access from one device, other devices including the orbi say disconnected from Internet, but I’m posting this using the same router and WiFi network?!?
Router light is currently purple, so how does this work considering there’s no cellular capabilities on this device?
I do not believe this has anything to do with my ISP or the ONT, as I said before downgrading to v4 resolves my connectivity issues.
And if it was my ISP how is this device still working when others have failed?

What device are you referring too?
If the RBR front LED is PINK, then there is a problem between the RBR and your ISP services. Need have the ISP check all services and signals up to the Modem or ONT. Ask them if there is any specific WAN configurations needed, i.e. PPPoE or DHCP and ask them if any ISP router is required for there services.
Swap LAN cable between the ISP equipment and RBR. CAT6 is recommended.
Turn OFF the RBS while your trouble shooting the issue with the RBR and your ISP services.
Factory reset and setup from scratch. A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser. https://kb.netgear.com/22697/How-do-I-install-my-NETGEAR-router-using-the-router-web-interface
Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

I would power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute. Factory reset the router and power it off. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync. Then power ON the router and walk thru the setup wizard again using a wired PC and a web browser.
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.

Or use the ERASE button on the routers web page to factory reset the router:
