You should be able to disable it from within the browser. Here's the guide for a nighthawk to enable. Should be pretty similar but just uncheck the "enable guest" option.

Sorry - I should have clarified.
Guest network was turned off at the router, but was appearing as a broadcast SSID. I could connect a device to it, but not access internet. (I thought I read about this as an issue with prior firmware - but I never had the specific issue. But, who can keep track at this point).
I am still not clear why Armor is turned on. But cycling the guest network on and off causes the guest network to disappear - for now.
Does anyone have an email address for someone in management at Netgear? My support is expired, and they are not getting more of my money.
Every day is new surprise. I don't get a real warm security fuzzy when my device is sending unexpected emails and my Sunday starts with discovering a guest network I didn't know I had, and appears to be accepting connections.
In short, Netgear needs to get their act together and fix these issues soon. Management needs to feel some heat. A "We are aware..." posting on the support page isn't cutting it. Even this is poorly executed as all systems are shown as green.
I realize they are a tech company - but do I need to send a good old fashioned letter?
