I believe you will find that the Orbi offers channel 36 (not channel 30)

I cannot find a way for the Orbi 'app' to set the WiFi channel.  The Orbi web interface provides a drop down menu where the user can select which channel to use.  on my Orbi, it looks like this:

Just personally, I would rather trust an independent tool to verify exactly which channel the Orbi is using.

On Android, there are numerous "WiFi Analyzer" apps which will display every WiFi access point, along with which channel they are using.

For Windows, the free WiFi Info View program does the same thing:
