I now have one of my RBS750's reporting as model RBS750QV and reporting that the status "update failed". Current name and current firmware version are correct and show firmware as 7.2.7.15 and three...

Someone else reported seeing this on there 750 series. How was the system updated? Manually or Auto update or Update ALL?
RBS should have been updated first manually then the RBR lastly.

Updating was done manually with the satellites completed before the router.

Does this V appear the RBS web page itself?
Does this appear on the RBRs web page under the connected devices page?
Did you load the FW thru the RBS web page?
Which web browser did you use?

The previous discussion was from March of this year:

Did not appear to be any resolution on that.

I saw that previously and it didn't look like it was resolved.

MIght try this, Downgrade the one RBS with the v on it to v.21 version. Factory reset it then re-sync it manually to the RBR. Check to see if it appears on the RBRs web page with out the V. If not, try re-updating it back to v.15. Use MS Edge for this. Clear all browser caches before hand.
Turn OFF the working RBS for now.
If all else fails to clear this on your system, revert back to prior loaded working version on all RBS and the RBR and disable auto update.
We sent this over to NG for review. No feedback to date. Seems like this only effects some and not all.
