Upgrading to 2GB connection with Orbi RBR850 Router
Are there any issues doing this upgrade with my current equipment?
The Orbi RBR850 router WAN port supports up to 2.5GB Ethernet connection. This makes it compatible with a cable modem or fiber ONT with a similar Ethernet port.

Just be aware that you'll not see 2.5Gb out the LAN ports on the 850 series. IF you want to see beyond 1Gb on the LAN side, you'll need a Orbi 770, 960 or 970 series.
Thanks. I figured out the LAN issue. Here's another question. Are my 850 satellites compatible with the 770, 960 and 970 routers?
