Regarding option 2:
1. Do I leave the ethernet connection as it is?
2. Do I disable the modem DHCP?
3. if I disable the modem DHCP, then after switching the netgear to router mode, it will get the 192.168.1.1 default address.
Is it that addresses I have to put in the modem DMZ?

Yes.2. Do I disable the modem DHCP?You'll need to consult with the ISP or the modem's manufacturer on how to properly bridge the modem, if it supports that feature.3. if I disable the modem DHCP, then after switching the netgear to router mode, it will get the 192.168.1.1 default address.Modem needs to be put in to Bridge mode or the DHCP service needs to be kept enabled. You can set the RBR for a different IP address of 192.168.0.1 and this will avoid what the modem maybe using that could be 192.168.1.1.Is it that addresses I have to put in the modem DMZ?No, the IP address the RBR gets on it's WAN port or internet services would need to be put in to the modems DMZ. Look on the RBRs web page under Advanced Tab/Internet section on the right to see what IP address the RBR gets from the ISP modem.
