Using CBR750 with WPA3 as a bridge for WPA2 printer
I can't believe I have to post on this forum instead of getting proper instruction with somebody from netgear but here we go... I have a CBR750 mesh system with WPA3 enabled, my printer i just bo...
You'll need to set WPA2 mode on the CBR if you want the printer to connect.
but the whole of point of choosing this router was for the wpa3/wifi6 capability running it in limp mode seems counterintuitive, could it be done with a rasperry pi and a printer server?
Something to ask the printer Mfr about. It's there product that doesn't support WPA3. It needs WPA2 or try ethernet if the printer supports that.
If you're all about that printer connecting and it won't connect to wpa3 (and you're dedicated you have to use wpa3), either use an old router and set it up in AP mode with wpa2 running. Or just run the Orbi in wpa2 mode.

This is indeed the situation. Someone wants to secure his house, so he installs expensive Medico locks with those special keys that are difficult to pick and cannot be duplicated by ordinary locksmiths. Then he says, "oh, but I want to be able to open a door with my old Kwikset key." No. Secure means secure. Frankly, I am amazed that the printer is the only device that cannot connect.
Almost anything can be done with a Raspberry Pi. Or, get a WiFi extender that will connect to the Orbi with WPA3 and create a WiFi access point with WPA2.
