VLAN and Internet connection
Why would enabling VLAN w/tagging cause my Internet to lose connection?

I suppose that explains it. What I wanted to do was segregate my Wifi Cameras so they are lower priority than my IPTVs. Seems I can't do that -- at least with Orbi VLAN

It would help to have more description of how VLAN tagging was applied, and to what device.
Residential Orbi routers do not support internal VLAN. The only VLAN they support is when the Internet Service Provider (ISP) requires VLAN be enabled for IPTV service. See page 92 of the user manual:

That sounds to me like a Quality of Service (QoS) goal rather than VLAN. IPTV is 99% Downstream traffic (from the internet to TVs) and security cameras would seem to be mostly upstream (from cameras to the Cloud).
Whatever. Orbi does not provide the user control over QoS, either.

Yes. QoS. Was after a way to get around Orbi not having QoS with prioritized VLANs. But, alas yes. Not doable with Orbi.
