Wan Aggregation RBR750

I upgraded to the AX4200. My question is can I use wan aggregation with my setup.

I have Fios 1 gig service. The ONT was palced inside my apartment with an upgrade a the begninng othe this year. FIOS ran wirign in the hallway bringing Fios to my door. The original set-up had hte wire going into the back of the ONT. Both and ethernet connection and a Coax connection were made to the Fios fouter. The Coax had a a splitter and the other part connected to the coax in the wall to my TV on the second story.

A few months back I did away with the Fios router and used my RBR50 by plugging the ethrnet from the ONT into the Orbi. The COAX then went straight to the wall. All worked well except for the menu on the Fios TV.

I ourchased a Motorala MM 100010 a bonded 2.0 MoCA Network Adapter.  I ran a Coax form the ONT to the MoCa and then one form MoCa to tthe wall. I also ran an ethernet cable from the  1 gig MoCA to the Orbi router.

Can I do wan aggregation with this setup? As Fios does not have a modem will this create a feedback loop? if yes, how can this be solved? If I can aggregate any help in exlaining how to do this will be appreciated.

I am still new on the board so I hope that i expalind the setup clealry. If not, please let me know and i can send photos or do a better explanation.

  • Your ISP modem needs to support WAN LAG. Like NGs CM1100/1200 series. Check with your ISP about this in regards to there HW.

Thanks. FIOS does not use a modem. Does that prohibit me from trying wan aggregation?

You'll need to ask your ISP if there HW support LAG on the WAN. It is a requirement that what ever the ISP interfacing devices is with the Orbi system, that this device supports LAG on the WAN side. IF not, then you can't use LAG on RBR.
