Websites Blocked
Hi. I have the Orbi RBR750 and all of a sudden, a month ago, some websites would not work. I noticed that it was only some e-commerce websites that did not work. I checked online and I found the f...

FIXED! I got my Internet provider to change the modem and then after a factory reset of the Orbi router, all of the websites are now accessible!!! Even though they denied that would fix the problem. Ha!
Thank you everyone for your help!

Can someone please help me? I've done the factory reset, clear all browser data, rebooted mt Orbi, changed the password, and the sites are still blocked on all different devices, Windows and Apple. This is because of the Orbi router. I need help!

This is the message that pops up when I try to log onto BJ's Warehouse's website:
Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://www.bjs.com/" on this server.

Thanks for clarifying that it is not only Apple products.
Could you please humor me with a strange request....
Is there a link (probably in tiny type toward the bottom of the page) that offers "more information" or something like that. The reason I ask is there were reports some time ago about web pages getting redirected to the Orbi router and the router rejecting the connection. The error message gave the impression that the web site was rejecting connections when it was actually the router.
Reading through the messages, I do not see which firmware release is on this system. Current firmware for the 750 system is v7.2.6.21

There is no link on any of the messages from any of the websites.
I noticed if I pause "Parental Controls" the wi fi is blocked. I only gain access again if I do a factory reset. And those websites are still blocked!

Is it possible to do a Factory Reset, and not enable Parental Controls? Keep them OFF?

It is really frustrating to look for solutions to problem when I cannot duplicate them. (sigh) Left to speculate, "What might be doing this?" (And ask lots of questions that often lead nowhere.)
For example, This message mentions an unencrypted web address (http) rather than an encrypted address (https). When I search for BJ's Warehouse, the hit comes up as https://www.bjs.com So one question is, "What would cause a response like this?" If it is from BJ's, then perhaps they refuse to accept unencrypted connections. Or, it could be from the browser saying, "This web site refused an unencrypted connection. and I am damn well not going to fix your typing error.."
It came as quite a shock (to me) when web browsers began to silently assume when a URL is entered that the intention is for it to be to an encrypted site.
So the tedious questions are:
- What happens when the URL is deliberately entered as "https"?
- Which web browsers are being used, and do they have any settings about http vs. https?

It happens with bjs.com, macys.com puritan.com, qvc.com.
It doesn't matter if I type https://www___ or just qvc.com, for example. It doesn't mater if I clear the cookie or factory reset the Orbi.
It happens on my PC, my Android smartphone, and my iPad.
