Why does my orbi 750 keep dropping my ISP internet connection?
I have the orby 750 router and two satellites. Lately it seems that in the past two weeks, I am periodically experiencing the Internet dropping from my Orbi network. I do not understand why this is o...

The ISP cable modem is a Sagemcom F@st3896UM.
Yes, the router's light changes to a solid magenta color when this happens.
Home is a two story 2500 square foot home. Router 750R is right next to our cable modem and is connected via an ethernet cable. Satellites are at least 30 feet apart. Have not any issues with them connecting to the router as my home is wood construction.
Using both 2.4 and 5.0 ghz channels. Not many neighbors nearby...so I only see one network within range of my computer.

Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktopYes, the router's light changes to a solid magenta color when this happens.

For this size of home having two RBS deployed maybe too much wifi:
Try turning down the power output of the RBRs wifi radios from 100% to 25% and see if this changes anything. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Router 750R is right next to our cable modem and is connected via an ethernet cable.
The RBR maybe too close to the modem. Try 6 feet from the modem .
