Wifi Speed Slow

I have Cox gigablast going into a Netgear CM1000 cable modem.  This is connected to an Orbi AX6000 (RBK852).  The Orbi app shows near 1 gig speed but when running a speed test on my iPhone while standing next to the Orbi router I'm only getting throughput in the 300-350 range, which seems extremely slow.

Any ideas?  Thanks.

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AX (WiFi 6) products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi AX and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "general Orbi" forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Turn OFF the RBS to make sure the phone is connected at the RBR. Testing should be about 6-10 feet away from the RBR.

Depending on the phone model, 5Ghz can top out at around 300-500. My 12 Max that supports AX mode sees around 600-700max.

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

    Thank you

It is impossible for most WiFi devices to reach anything near gigabit speed.

Even though the app is running on a WiFi device, it is actually reporting a test that was run on the router itself.
