Will Night Hawk DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem (CM2050V) work with the existing Orbi Mesh 6?

I have an Orbi 6 Mesh modem router combo (CBR750) plus a satellite now. If I add a Night Hawk CM2050 modem, will I be able to use it to pair with the Orbi Modem/combo setup? The reason is CM2050 has phone jacks so I can add on the home phone line into my Xfinity plan.

    Nope. The CBR is a modem gateway as well and can only work in modem only mode or gateway modem/router mode.

      Thanks, then I will need a new router as well. It’s probably not worth it at this point.

        If you put a router in between the Cm modem and CBR, you could run the CBR in a faux AP mode and use the CBR and RBS as a wireless MESH system. Youd connect the CBR to the host router via a LAN port in back is all.
