Will the R9000 mesh with Orbi

Question

I'm looking at the Orbi AX6000 system, but do have an R9000 router already.

If I remove the R9000 as the router (replace it with the Orbi AX6000) and put it in access point mode, can I use it between two Orbi's? Will the Orbi's mesh with it?

No, You can only MESH Orbi RBS and RBR units.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
