Yes you can use a switch in between the RBR and RBS.
NON Managed switch is recommended. NG GS-105/108v4 and GS308v3, D-Link DGS-105/108 and HP ProCurve 1400/1800 series switches work for Orbi systems.
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

Check it out and see if it works. Seen some non managed switches with Green Ethernet features cause problems with Orbi systems. Hopefully this will work though.

well i can't just check it out because i'm currentlly digging the forum to find out answers BEFORE i buy the Orbi 🙂
I have a big house with 2 storeys and want to form a new mesh network with the 2 sattelites wired far away from the router.

I'm running managed switches without issues. I'm not doing anything fancy with it and use it more as a learning experience.
But looking at that switch, it basically an unmanaged rackmount switch. Should be fine.
