Xerox printer won't appear on the network
I just set up my new Orbi A6000 system and everything seems to be working EXCEPT,
I connected my Xerox Phaser 6180 printer to the router via ethernet cable and none of the devices can communicate with it now. We need this printer ASAP so any help would be appreciated.

First, check the Xerox network settings and that is has an IP address. Start with verifying that DHCP is enabled vs. a static IP address (which if set to something for your previous home network is likely incorrect for your new network). Once this is done the printer should also show up on http://orbilogin.com list of connected devices.
Next, reinstall the Xerox printer onto your devices. Previous printer installs may be looking for the printer via the old IP address.
If things are still not working, despite the printer having a valid Orbi IP address, look for and install device firmware/driver and printer driver software updates on the Xerox website.

I had problems with this printer in the past and Xerox support said the problem was that it needed to have a static IP address. Is there any way to have the Orbi use that address rather than assign it a new one?

Try this, change the RBRs default IP address pool range to 192.168.1.100 thru .200. Then you can set a static IP addres ON the printer on either side of this IP address Pool range.
Use the printers web page or control panel to set a static IP address ON the printer out side the new default IP address pool range. Try using 192.168.1.61
