770 Wired Backhaul issues
Hello all! Coming back to ask for another help with my 772 system. Turns out that I am having a lot of issues with my setup, more specifically: Orbi App can't show 2.4 Ghz speeds for devic...

When the RBS is ethernet connected or had been, how was the RBS ethernet connected to the RBR? directly behind the RBR or is there a LAN switch or LAN patch panel in between the RBR and RBS?
What kind of CAT# LAN cable are you using? CAT6A STP is recommended.
Still suffering with the same issues.
After you factory reset the system it works on wireless backhaul until you wire it for the first time.
Then it behave oddly even if you unplug the cable again.
Answering your questions...

A: Direct connection by a seamless cable.
- What kind of CAT# LAN cable are you using? CAT6A STP is recommended.
A: Cat5e cable, but it looks fine with an Ethernet tester and the router connection info shows it as a 2,5gbps connection.
It is my fourth Orbi system and never have seen anything like it... just weird.

Though CAT5E can be used, if it's UTP, maybe some bad behaviors can be contributed to using UTP for STP. Something I have seen with using UTP on higher speed connections past 1Gb. STP should be tried to see if this changed anything with the RBS ethernet connected.
I have replaced the cable last night with a Cat6 one and the satellite rebooted again, so it is definitely not the cable my problem here.
And did preform a factory reset on the RBS after FW was updated on and resynced it to the RBR wirelessly first then after it synced, connected the Ethernet cable to the RBS?
Ya possible faulty RBS when wire connected...
