Backhaul 1 gb not 2.5gb
I have an 870 system. One satellite. When I connect the satellite to my switch, it connects at 1gb. The switch and my network is 2.5gb.
The ports are all supposed to be 2.5gb but I am not seein...

Brand and model# of this switch?
Be sure your using good quality CAT LAN cable. CAT6A STP is recommended.

I get that but I can't control what is in the wall. This is not new construction.

Possible what is IN the wall maybe older CAT LAN cable and causing the speed reduction.
To check this in a quick fashion, take one or both RBS and directly connect them to the back of the RBR. Check the RBRs web page for BH connection speed. You should see 2.5Gb speed for each RBS connected behind the RBR. IF you see this, then your issue is in wall cabling and or the switch.
