Carrier Infinity Touch wall controls will not connect.
The Orbi 960 has the exact same problem. Carrier Infinity Touch wall controls will not connect.

I've been working with Matt, a level 2 Netgear Engineer over the past couple of weeks. He has been fantastic. He had me send some log files over and they sent me new firmware a few days later. I applied it and still couldn't connect. Same issue. Matt had me send over additional log files after the first firmware was applied. Last night he sent me new firmware and I applied it this morning. I am now able to connect my Carrier Infinity Touch thermostat to the Obri RBE 771/770 network!

FYI - Last night the Level 2 engineer emailed me to ask for the following, which I promptly provided:
1. Network diagram/Topology:
-What is the modem brand and model?
-Is the main Orbi router connected to the modem?
-Is there any other networking device aside from the modem and Orbi router/satellite?
ex. modem (brand/model) -> switch/firewall (brand and model if there is any) -> Orbi router -> Orbi satellites (how are the satellites connected (wired or /wireless))
2. Config file.
This is how to get the config file:
-Please provide the admin password so that we can locally access the config file
3. Copy of router logs:
-Go to orbilogin.com
-Go to Advanced page
-Go to Administration -> Router logs

Thanks for reporting the resolution. He probably gave no indication of what was causing the problem? (only: "Here. Try another firmware version.")
- I am having the same issue with my new RBE871. Can someone share what they did to get the router to work with thee Carrier Infinity thermostat? Where can I get the firmware you used?
