Consistent Internet drops
Hi - I recently purchased the Orbi 870 series (router plus 3 satellites) and I currently have 2 satellites hard wired to the 871 router and 1 satellite connected wireless. On a regular basis my inte...
internet connection will slow to a crawl (download speeds of 1-2 MB and upload speeds the same) for several minutes. I have had to power cycle the router or occasionally the closest satellite to resolve the issue.
How do you detect the change in internet speed?
- Using the built-in Speed Test from the web or Orbi app?
- Running a Speed Test on a device attached to.....
Does the problem resolve itself after "several minutes"? (It seems strange that power cycling a satellite will affect speed to something connected to the router.)
