If both RBS are placed out in a line from the RBR and OFF, then closest RBS to the RBR should be turned ON and let it sync. Once it's synced, turn on the farther RBS away from the RBR and it should sync to the middle RBS.

I moved one satellite past the other and into the garage. When I looked at the system layout, nothing changed. All devices attached to a satellite stayed with that satellite. Is there a procedure that needs to be followed so the layout appearance in the app looks correct and devices switch to the closer satellite?

Many thanks. That makes sense. I had previously set up my Nighthawk R7800. It was easy to set up the Orbi 770.
I'm considered an old person at 70 so some would think I should be inviting the neighbor teenager to set things up! I owned RadioShack dealer stores before corporate went bankrupt. That was back in the days when we kept a solder iron hot on the workbench in the back of the store.
