Yes, if it's working then keep it. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!

First, you set up your Orbi system normally.

Then, you select access point mode (located under the advanced tab) if this is your desired configuration.
