Yes, if it's working then keep it. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

I see three PDFs in the entire post, I assume the PDS with fixed IP in AP mode?
I don't do that. It is not recommended and I have no idea what the benifit would be, I don't have it now and everything works like a charm. If it ain't broken, don't fix it!
