Issues getting Windows 11 laptop to connect to Orbi 870
I have HP Windows 11 laptop that uses a Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 WiFi 6E adapter. The WiFi worked fine with my previous Orbi Pro SXR80, but after upgrading to Orbi 872 system, won't connect. ...
I did update the adapter driver on Windows. The Qualcomm WiFi adapter is build into the laptop not external via USB.
I did keep the SSIDs the same for all the networks when upgrading to the Orbi 870 and all the other devices connected fine - no issues on 21 other devices. Only this Windows laptop.
The laptop does see all the available networks, just doesn't connect.
Will try the no security passcode and see what happens. But, if it does connect, then how would I fix in Windows?
Try checking some of the advanced adapter settings to see if anything there helps.
Possible adapter may not be compatible either or chip set mfr hasn't updated the drivers to support or work on WiFi7 MESH systems.
