Today's Speedtest, crazy good. This is from the living room on MacBook over wifi6. The satellites are in the bedrooms and router in the den. Xfinity is ISP and it's 1.2GB cable internet service. So, I'm getting Wifi speed in excess of the maximum, and im not even in the same room as the satellites or router so pretty excited. My setup likely has something to do with it. I purchased a 8 port 10 GB unmanaged switch, Netgear XS508M. I used Monoprice Cat6A Blue CMR Shielded (F/UTP), Solid, 23AWG, 650MHz, 10G, Pure Bare Copper, Ethernet Cable to make wired backhaul connections to each satellite independently from the switch, so that took some effort to run ethernet through walls and attic. As important are the terminations, I terminated the ethernet with true cable cat6 shielded toolless keystone jacks (better than Monoprice ones), but you'll need needle nose pliers to clamp them together because this ethernet is thick, use small included ties to ensure they stay snapped together, make sure the aluminum foil and the bare grounding wire from ethernet is wound/wrapped around the ethernet cable so the sleeve of the jack compresses it when u close it (the true cable jacks are best as have spring loaded compression to ensure it will), then use a ethernet tester to make sure u did it right. if screwed up not hard to do it again. I used the Klein lan Scout Jr. tester, it will show if short and if shielded. Last step is using same or better shielded patch ethernet from keystone to satellite and keystone to switch, so entire run is shielded. The ethernet is thick and doesnt bend easily but its doable, just give yourself enough room behind the wall, I did run 4 other ethernet for direct wired ethernet connection for Apple TV etc to switch or to ethernet port on router, and was able to use a 4 keystone wall plate, so it's possible to make it look neat

Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
