Straq , please advise on how to proceed with this. I think we need to work together on this.

Maybe time for fw update, its been a while

Agreed. I feel like they are indeed getting closer to resolving most annoyances, but not close enough.

Agreed. I gave up on the support thread after it had gone around in circles for a while, and they started asking for screen shots, personal information and other irrelevant details. It is ridiculous that I have spent this much money with the expectation of stable wifi and still have to tell the children to "just disable wifi and use 5G instead" when they get thrown out of their Pokémon battles mid-fight.

To be honest, this is exactly how the RBK50 systems were. Really buggy at the start, and then slowly got solidified. I had the RBK50 system, with the outdoor one and the RBW30 at the time. My network was already fast and stable after their initial hurdles. Hell, I remember telnetting (back when telnet was allowed in those times) to get that system running. It's looking like this RBE970/1 model is going to go down the same pathway. Long term I know it will be worth it, but I genuinely have to ask why the hell it is taking so long for Netgear to fix issues with Apple devices. You would think that would be a priority given that Android and Apple are pretty much staple devices that will almost always be in one's household!
If I had direct access to engineers, I could help them pinpoint issues much quicker and most likely get firmware patches released to everyone wuicker, which would probably boost their sales and make everyone a whole lot happier!
One thing I think I have learned from first-hand experience and from researching the countless posts here is that for whatever reason these RBE970/1 units are ultra-sensitive to cabling. If you do your own cabling, you should at minimum use Shielded Cat6A cable (STP preferred, not F/UTP) and you MUST ensure your terminations are the absolute tightest they can be.- MoooseMay 21, 2025Luminary
Oh, the RBK50 nostalgia!
