(confession: ZERO experience with matter/thread)
A brief internet search turned up a comment that matter/thread require that all devices be on the same Layer 2 network. Devices create their own link-local IPv6 addresses. (i.e. the primary router does not have to provide DHCPv6.)
Are all of the devices on one network on the 870? (i.e. none of them on the Guest WiFi? or the IoT WiFi?)
