I have xfinity, some advice from me
NOTE: MY findings and opinion only!!
1. Never use cable supplied routers / modems

25 MBPS Upload
They may have switched me to your upload speeds but I never see that so far...
Anyway when you rent routers / cable modems from cable companies they tend to have lots more control over your internet,
meaning..... they tend to limit speeds during high usage more , tend to have more little problems, poor wifi, etc....
hope this helps, I really find using your own cable modem and routers is best, at least for me.
