Orbi 970 2.4 Ghz/WPS Satellite Handshaking

Hi Netgear and Netgear Community

I currently have a Orbi 970 Series Mesh Router + 4 Wireless backhauled satellites to media centers and ethernet connected computers, but I live in an area with very very high 2.4 Ghz traffic and congestion, so much so that sometimes I cannot connect on most 2.4 Ghz channels.  What I have found extremely annoying is that my Orbi Router will find all the satellites and establish a 5/6 Ghz backhaul that works great, but for whatever reason in the afternoon or evening it tends to try to optimize or rescan connections and then tries to reestablish links to Satellites probably by 2.4 Ghz or WPS and then loses a satellite until I have to reboot the whole router while it hunts for all of them again.  This doesn't matter if I set 2.4 Ghz to AUTO or a specific channel, (generally I try 1, 6, or 11 because my Sonos network depends on those).  Is there a way to give us an option to disable this optimization / hunting activity or prioritize a 5/6Ghz connection without 2.4? Or even a check box so that "if it ain't broke don't fix it?"

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.
