we can't say 100% because many things impact wireless performance. Interference, objects in the way, distance, etc.
It might help but it might not get you to the gigabit speeds you're wanting.
Is there a reason you need gigabit at the satellite? most services can't saturate gigabit anyway so they rarely hit that fast of speed. The only time you usually saturate gigabit is when speedtesting.
You could always try it and buy from somewhere with a generous return policy. that'd be about the only way to see how it actually performs
