Orbi 970 Wifi 7 speeds and 10 Gb ethernet backhaul (two questions for the group)
1. How can you check your ethernet backhaul speeds for 10Gbps? I have the Orbi 970 router connected to a 10Gbps unmanaged switch (which shows up as LAN 1), and each of my satellites is connected dire...

If you have a switch in between the RBR and RBS, then this is the backhaul for ethernet RBS. If your seeing 10Gb on the RBRs web page and the switch indicates 10Gb connections from the RBS being connected there, then the system is running at 10Gb BH speeds. The speeds for the backhaul on the RBRs web page is only for the wireless backhaul when the RBS are wirelessly connected to the RBR. This is how this works and intended design. No real need to see the wired backhaul as that is mostly a static speed and connection rate speed maxes out if all devices and cabling are in good working order and connected between the RBR, 10Gb supporting switch and the RBS. Most switches have LED indications of connected devices and the speed they are connecting at. Just check the switch.
For WiFi devices you can check the connection rate speed at the device like on OS PC platforms will have a connection speed displayed for the wifi adapter that is supporting of WiFi7. Mobile devices can be a bit harder however there are some apps that can give connection rate speeds. I used to use WiFi SweetSpots for checking live connection rates on my phone. Not sure if that still available or maybe something different or newer.
The user documentation may need updating however just gives general information. It's mostly accurate.

1. How can you check your ethernet backhaul speeds for 10Gbps? I have the Orbi 970 router connected to a 10Gbps unmanaged switch (which shows up as LAN 1), and each of my satellites is connected directly to the 10Gb switch, but the backhaul status just states "good." This is frustrating, as I want to verify that the 10Gb backhaul is running at 10Gb (and not 1Gb or some variant). NOTE: The 970 router and satellite SHOULD have more than one 10Gb port on them, so you can connect directly.
2. I have several Wifi-7 devices, however I can't check the bandwidth speeds of the wifi signal. It just states "connected to RBE971 5GHz+6GHz WiFi. and the IP and MAC address. No bandwidth speeds.
For both problems, I think Netgear should fix. Instead of saying "good" for backhaul speeds on ethernet backhaul, it should state good and the bandwidth speeds between router and satellite. For the Wifi speeds, that seems to be a simple fix.
p.s. I did check "show statistics" and the 10GB interfaces do not even show up

Your answer takes my original statement out of context. I stated that my connection from the Orbi router to the 10Gb switch is connected at 10Gb, but none of my satellites, which are connected to the same 10Gb ethernet switch (because of lack of 10 Gb ports on the Orbi) don't even show up as an Ethernet backhaul, which they are using.

Trying to get Netgear to provide more information about these very expensive mesh routers.

How are the satellite connections displayed on the Attached Devices screen (in addition to the word "Good")?
Is there perhaps a symbol of some sort?
