Orbi doesn't see an internet connection when connected to 2.5gbps port on modem
I have a new internet provider (EzFiber) and they have installed a Nokia modem and my plan supports 2.5 Gbps and their technician validated that I am getting 2.5 Gbps on the modem. I have connected m...

The modem was changed yesterday because of some ISP issue. There were setting on the old modem containing my Orbi's MAC and IP Address that were causing a conflict with my replaced modem (New Profile) that were resulting Orbi not getting an IP Address. 2nd level support cleared the old modem's profile from the system and everything is working as expected. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.

It is often useful to connect a computer directly to the Ethernet port on the fiber modem to verify that it gets an internet connection.
For example, if ezfiber requires a user ID and password for connection, the Orbi will have to be configured with that information. If the installation tech set up the eero WiFi router, perhaps that information can be found in the router?

I have connected a computer directly to modem through ethernet cable and verified the internet is up. There is no user name or password required by ISP. It is only connection from Orbi to modem that doesn't work. I have tried Eero and Goggle Mesh with Nokia modem and they have no issues.

The same Ethernet cable used for all devices?
What does the Orbi web interface, Advanced Tab, Show Statistics display for the WAN port?
Is there an ordinary Ethernet switch that can be temporarily placed between the modem and the Orbi router?

I have tried multiple ethernet cables now. Like I mentioned in the original post, right now I have connected Orbi through Eero 6E 1 Gbps switch and it is working . This is what my advanced Statistics shows. Please guide me and I can go to other pages and provide the required information. Can you clarify what you mean by Ethernet switch. Is it just ethernet hub?

Show Statistics indicates the WAN port is connected at 1000M/Full, which is correct because it is connected to the eero gigabit port. Was interested to see what it reports when connected to the modem 2.5G port.
Yes, any old Ethernet switch. If placed between the WAN port and the modem, this will force the Orbi WAN port to connect at one gigabit to the modem. If there is some incompatibility between the modem 2.5G and the Orbi 10G ports, this would force both of them to one gigabit. If the Orbi still has "no internet" when connected that way..... oh, my.
