Orbi97E IOT with Simplisafe
I finally realized that to connect to simply safe cameras, the base station, and your iPhone both need to be on the IOT channel. That is not very well documented in the SimpliSafe documentation. Now that all the cameras are connected to the IOT channel which is running at 2.4 GHz. Do I leave the cameras and base station on IOT or do I switch to the regular Orbi89 channel which includes 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz?

Something to ask the Mfr of these cameras. Some cameras may have there own wifi base station or host unit. While others, may not and could be connected to the IoT network on the Orbi system. Again, something to ask them to check on with you.

Sorry this is a duplicate post. New to posting here.
I was having problems hooking up the SimpliSafe cameras to the SimpliSafe base station from my iPhone 12 pro max. I spent hours searching articles and finally realized that both the iPhone and the base station need to be on the IOT channel to get the devices to connect. All my cameras are now connected. Feels like a major milestone! Do I leave the base station and Cameras on the IOT channel or do I change them back to the Orbi 89 channel!
