Orbi's main unit making clicking/rattling sounds
I'm experiencing this issue where my NETGEAR Orbi 970 Series Quad-Band WiFi 7 main unit is making this clicking/rattling noise, which it never did before. This has started happening exactly 4 months ...
Over a week now, and I'm glad to report no issues so far with the new unit. It seems like there was def something wrong with the old one.
Got a recording of this noise?
This is happening on the router unit?
Powering off the unit stops the noise? Back ON the noise returns?

Hi guys, no recordings, because it happens sporadically at random times. It happens inside the router unit; not sure if it happens with the satellite as well, as it is far away in the other end of the house. I have already tried powering off the unit as suggested by Netgear support. Also tried switching power bricks. If you look on the internet, you'll see some other people have also experienced this issue. Even on this forum, there are some reports.
I agree that is very strange, as there are no moving or mechanical parts inside the router that I know of and that's the first thing I told the Netgear rep.
Expecting a call back from Netgear today, as I have already submitted a ticket.
